This woman also revealed that Kim Min Gwi had close contact with someone who had COVID-19 so that he should undergo self-quarantine. But instead he breaks quarantine and chooses to leave to have an affair.

Kim Min Gwi's agency, Big Picture Entertainment, shared their statement on Monday, July 26. They confirmed Kim Min Gwi admitted the guilt but denied the allegations regarding the COVID-19 quarantine.

“It is not true that Kim Min Gwi violated self-quarantine regarding COVID-19. On May 22, he was told he had come into contact with someone and immediately went into self-quarantine. During quarantine, he felt symptoms and took the test - the results were positive. He underwent treatment and is recovering," Big Picture said.

The next day, Kim Min Gwi shared his handwriting on his Instagram account. He apologizes for causing a scandal in his personal life.

“After reading what the person wrote, I thought about how I acted in the past. I realized my mistake and apologized to the person.”

He also explained the same thing as his agency's statement and promised to act more mature.

Meanwhile, JTBC decided to reduce the portion of Kim Min Gwi's appearance in Korean drama Nevertheless. Starting from episode 8 which will air, Kim Min Gwi's part will be edited as much as possible.
