Social Assistance For COVID 10 Kg Of Rice From The Ministry Of Social Affairs In Baubau Sultra Targets 9,186 KPM
SULTRA - The process of distributing Rice Social Assistance (Bansos) from the Ministry of Social Affairs for Beneficiary Families (KPM) in Baubau City, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra) which has been carried out since July 26, 2021, will target 9,186 KPM.
Head of Bulog Baubau Sub-Division, Ardiansyah in Kendari, Wednesday, July 28, said that the recipients of the Social Assistance Program for the Ministry of Social Affairs consisted of 6,099 KPM for the Family Hope Program (PKH) and 3,087 KPM for Cash Social Assistance (BST).
"God willing, if there are no obstacles, we will finish them all today. Thank God, so far there have been no problems in the distribution process to urban villages," he said as quoted by Antara.
The distribution of the 10 kg of rice social assistance was centered in each kelurahan, which since Monday, July 26, has been filled with beneficiaries.
Bulog Baubau together with the transporter in charge of the distribution, targets the distribution to 43 urban villages throughout Baubau City to be completed in two days starting from Monday 26 to Tuesday 27 July yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Baubau City Social Service, Abdul Rajab, said the social assistance from the central government was an additional assistance to KPM PKH and BST which were also affected by the implementation of PPKM.
"In a sudden pandemic situation like today we have to be patient and accept, the government will continue to pay attention to its citizens. People hope to be calm, there will definitely be steps from the government," he said.
Kabulog and Head of the Baubau Social Service Agency indicated that there would be a second phase of social assistance distribution aimed at non-PKH KPMs. However, the time and number of recipients have not yet been determined by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
