Police Confirm Iis Dahlia Counterfeiter Of Antigen Swab Letters And PCR Is Not A Dangdut Artist
JAKARTA - Iis Dahlia was caught in a case of forgery of the results of the antigen swab and PCR. The woman whose name is the same as the dangdut singer is not alone, she is with her colleague, Joko. Now both are huddled behind a cell after the police managed to catch him.
According to the officer's statement, Iis Dahlia and Joko were a gang of counterfeiters of antigen swab and PCR letters. Both were arrested in the Melawai area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta while waiting for their customers.
"From the investigation, two suspects were obtained under the name of J and on behalf of ID," said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Azis Andriansyah when releasing the case at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (27/7/2021).
Kombes Pol Azis Andriansyah explained that in launching their actions the perpetrators used the logos of a number of government and private hospitals. After that, said Kombes Pol Azis, the two perpetrators asked for the identities of their customers to be included in the results of the fake antigen swab and PCR results.
"He prints the format based on several formats owned by health facilities or health labs from several hospitals. There are about 3 hospitals, both private and public or state," explained Azis.
Asked how much the fake antigen swab letters sold by Iis Dahlia and Joko were, Azis said the price was relative.
"For antigen swabs, they sell for Rp. 200 thousand, then fake PCR results are sold for Rp. 400 thousand," said Azis.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Achmad Akbar, added that the two suspects, Iis Dahlia and Joko, were jobless. Iis Dahlia is just an ordinary citizen, not an artist as is widely reported via aggregator applications.
"I emphasize, Iis Dahlia alias ID is not an artist. He is unemployed. The suspect has another network related to the arrest of a suspect in a similar case by the Polda Metro Jaya. So again, ID is not an artist," said Achmad Akbar when contacted by voi.id reporters. , Wednesday 28 July.
Until now, the ranks of the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit are still investigating the case of selling fake COVID-19 Swab Test and PCR results.
"We are still investigating. The two suspects (Iis Dahlia and Joko) forged the barcode and produced it themselves," he said.
For their actions in falsifying fake antigen swab letters and PCR, Iis Dahlia and Joko were charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code and Article 268 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 6 years in prison.
