JAKARTA - Chelsea came from behind to beat Bournemouth 2-1 in a pre-season friendly at the Vitality Stadium, England, Tuesday local time.

The score was able to be maintained as the second victory in the pre-season match for Thomas Tuchel's team after they crushed Peterborough United, who had just been promoted to the Premier League Championship Division, with a score of 6-1 on 17 July.
Despite being strengthened by many young players, a number of pillars of the Chelsea first team took part in this match including the goalkeeper duo Kepa Arrizabalaga and Edouard Mendy.
Callum Hudson-Odoi, Marcos Alonso, Hakim Ziyech, Ross Barkley, Tammy Abraham and Christian Pulisic also bagged at least 45 minutes of playing time to restore their competitive fitness.
Chelsea still have two more pre-season friendlies against London city rivals Arsenal on Sunday 1 August at the Emirates and host Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge three days later.
After guiding Chelsea to the Champions League title in his first six months, Tuchel will start a full season coaching tenure for 2021/22.

Tuchel certainly hopes to maintain his seat at Stamford Bridge, unlike Roberto Di Matteo, who was sacked less than a year after leading the Blues to the Champions League title in 2012.
In the 2021/22 Premier League opener, Chelsea will host another London team, Crystal Palace, at Stamford Bridge on 14 August.
