Suspected Killer Of North Labuhanbatu MUI Chief Whose Body Was Full Of Wounds In Parit Was Arrested
MEDAN - Labuhanbatu Resort Police personnel, North Sumatra, arrested the suspect in the murder of the chairman of the North Labuhanbatu Ulema Council (MUI) Aminurrasyid Aruan.
"He has been arrested," said Labuhanbatu Police Chief AKBP Deni Kurniawan, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 27.
The identity of the perpetrator with the initials A and currently the perpetrator has been detained for the investigation process.
Regarding the motive for the murder, AKBP Deni Kurniawan said his party was still investigating.
"It's still being investigated," he said.
Previously, the chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Labura Aminurrasyid Aruan was found dead at around 18.00 WIB.
When found, the victim's body was full of wounds in a ditch in front of a resident's house in the community's yard in Gunting Saga Village, Kualuh Selatan District, Labura.
