Reported Cheating, Kim Min Gwi Apologizes For Disappointing The Public
JAKARTA - Actor Kim Min Gwi gave an official statement regarding his affair through the Picture Entertainment agency on Monday, July 26.
Last week, someone made a post claiming to be Kim Min Gwi's ex-girlfriend. He said their relationship had been going on for six years but while they were dating, he went to nightclubs and cheated on other women.
Not stopping there, the author also revealed that Kim Min Gwi had interacted with positive COVID-19 patients but did not self-quarantine according to health protocols.
The author of the post hopes that Kim Min Gwi can reflect on his actions and regret what he did. He includes photos and proof of messages between the two of them.
The Big Picture Entertainment agency apologized for the negative news regarding Kim Min Gwi circulating.
“Kim Min Gwi admitted his guilt regarding his personal life. He apologized to the people who were hurt by his actions. He also apologizes for disappointing the public," Big Picture said in a statement.
On the other hand, they denied that Kim Min Gwi did not self-quarantine. "On May 22, it was reported that he was in close contact with someone who tested positive and was quarantined at his home."
After experiencing several symptoms, Kim Min Gwi took the test and received a positive result. He underwent treatment and has been declared cured.
Kim Min Gwi himself stole the audience's attention through his role as Nam Kyu-Hyun in the Korean drama Nevertheless. This drama airs every Saturday with a total of 10 episodes.
