Today's COVID-19 In The City Of Bandung Breaks 8,000 Cases, Vice Mayor Yana Mulyana: Still High Risk

BANDUNG - Active cases of COVID-19 in the city of Bandung exceeded 8,000 people based on data from the COVID-19 Information Center (Pusicov) which was accessed on the covid19.bandung.go.id page.

Deputy Mayor (Wawali) of Bandung Yana Mulyana ensured that his party had made every effort to reduce the rate of COVID-19 cases, so that according to him, supervision during PPKM remained his effort to reduce cases.

"Right now, the risk is still high, the status is still Level 4, and although other areas such as West Bandung, Bandung Regency should have been Level 3, but because of agglomeration, it has come to Level 4," said Yana in Bandung, West Java, Antara, Monday, 27 July.

Meanwhile, based on Pusicov's latest data on Sunday, July 25, there were 8,203 active cases of COVID-19 in Bandung. This figure is the highest record so far in the city of Bandung since the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the last three days or since Friday, July 23, the number of active COVID-19 cases has indeed begun to increase after the previous week the number of active cases was fluctuating.

As of Friday, the number of active COVID-19 cases was 7,295 people. Then on Saturday, July 24, the number of active COVID-19 cases increased to 7,820 people.

In the last three, the increase in confirmed cases is indeed more than the number of recoveries. During the last three days, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases increased by 1,014 cases, while the recovery rate only increased by 45 people.

For this reason, Vice Mayor Yana asked the public to remain disciplined in implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
