AKR Corporindo, The Company Owned By Conglomerate Soegiarto Adikoesoemo Earns Revenue Of IDR 10.7 Trillion In 2021
JAKARTA - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk recorded performance growth in the first six months of 2021. The profit and income of the issuer codenamed AKRA grew in the first half of 2021.
Based on the financial report as of June 2021, AKRA posted revenue of IDR 10.71 trillion, up 7.05 percent year on year (YoY) from the previous IDR 10 trillion. Net profit increased higher, namely 27.53 percent YoY to IDR 550.39 billion from the previous IDR 431.57 billion.
AKRA President Director Haryanto Adikoesoemo stated, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, AKRA's performance in the first semester of 2021 continued to record growth. Performance was driven by growth in the trade and distribution segment as well as the contribution of SEZ JIIPE Gresik.
The Company continues to strictly maintain operational costs as well as working capital to remain efficient.
"The company carries out uninterrupted operations by prioritizing the health and safety of employees as a top priority. So we can ensure the delivery of fuel and chemical products to industrial customers throughout Indonesia", said the son of conglomerate Soegiarto Adikoesoemo, in a written statement, quoted Monday, July 26.
Haryanto admitted that the company is very optimistic about the prospects of JIIPE, especially after being designated as a Special Economic Zone - JIIPE Gresik by the President of the Republic of Indonesia on June 28, 2021.

SEZ JIIPE Gresik can encourage investment in East Java and Indonesia. AKRA continues to market the land and utilities of the JIIPE Gresik SEZ to domestic and foreign investors. Currently, SEZ JIIPE Gresik has also entered phase 2 development.
"The management has managed to keep the company's net gearing low at 11 percent. With a strong balance sheet and cash flow, AKRA is confident that it can run investment projects without interruption," said Haryanto.
AKRA will also distribute an interim dividend of IDR 60 per share. Haryanto said, with the profit and various considerations of these achievements, the board of directors have approved the distribution of an Interim Dividend of IDR 60 per share with a value of IDR 237 billion.
"Taking into account the company's performance in the first semester of 2021, it was decided to pay an interim dividend of IDR 60 per share. The total dividend to be paid on August 19, 2021, is IDR 237 billion", he explained.
