PDIP Legislator Suggests Residents Still Wrap Food Even If Dine In Is Allowed For 20 Minutes
JAKARTA - Member of Commission IX of the DPR from the PDIP faction, Rahmad Handoyo, appreciated the government's move to extend the period of application of the Level 4 Community Activity Restriction (PPKM) by adjusting the rules or easing of small traders and MSMEs.
"I think we have to appreciate it, it is still very difficult to feel even though there is an adjustment," Rahmad told reporters on Monday, July 26. According to him, the government has given a green light to SMEs, especially in the food sector.
However, the PDIP politician suggested that residents continue to pack their food, even though the government allows 20 minutes to eat on the spot or dine-in in the PPKM level 4 area. This is because the Delta variant of COVID-19 is easy to spread.
"But at least the massage that you want to convey even though the dine-in option is open for 20 minutes, it's better if the technique is wrapped or taken away, it's safer. Because whatever form it takes, it's still very risky when the Delta variant is very easy to spread, so the government gives time Even though the technique is not as easy as we imagine," he explained. Nevertheless, Rahmad applauds the government's decision which has adjusted to the wishes of the people. However, he appealed to the public to better wrap their food.
"At least we appreciate it, the government has given an adjustment, it's not a matter of 20 minutes, but at least if it's not urgent, it's better if we wrap it up and not in a place where we can eat at home or other places where there is no potential for the spread of COVID-19," said Rahmad .
