Tesla Autopilot Steering System Problem, The Moon Is Mistaken As A Traffic Light!
JAKARTA - Tesla cars are popular because they have many features. One of them is autopilot mode which is also known as Fully Self Driving Feature. However, in a video that went viral, an error appeared in the vehicle's FSD feature that consistently mistook the moon hanging low in the sky for a traffic light.
Known for their world-class technology and safety measures, the cars that Elon Musk introduced are famous for their advanced autopilot or long-distance driving features that allow people to maneuver the vehicle without getting behind the wheel.
A Tesla driver discovered a bug in Tesla's autopilot system that apparently mistook the moon for a traffic light. A video clip filmed by Tesla owner Jordan Nelson shows off the constantly confusing FSD system because the moon is seen as a yellow traffic light and makes cars slow down.
Twitter users posted a video clip online, in which a car while looking at the moon on the sky horizon looks confused at the yellow traffic light. On his Twitter account, Nelson shared, "Hey @Elonmusk, you might want your team to look at the moon to fool the autopilot system. The car thinks the moon is a yellow traffic light and wants to keep slowing down."

Whenever the moon appears, the built-in FSD shows a traffic signal on the screen with a glowing yellow light and even though there is nothing in front of it. The Tesla programmed car also shows a signal to slow down. The moon appeared very yellow at the time and appeared low in the sky which may have contributed to the rare problem. But the driver of such a sophisticated vehicle, wants the problem solved.
The problem arose after Tesla announced that each user could subscribe to the FSD Autopilot feature for $99 to $199 per month instead of paying a one-time large sum of $10,000 at the time of vehicle purchase. Tesla's Autopilot feature has faced a real challenge while the brand ensures these issues are in the domain of understanding the newly introduced technology.
