These Are 11 Social Protection Programs From The Government For The Extension Of PPKM Level 4
JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said that the extension of the Level 4 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) to August 2 will be accompanied by the government's commitment to providing social protection.
"That the government has prepared new social assistance related to the implementation of PPKM Level 4 (which was extended)", he said in a virtual press conference, Sunday, July 25.
Meanwhile, the number of social assistance was conveyed by Coordinating Minister Airlangga in the following 11 important points.
1. Adding IDR 200,000 basic food card assistance for two months which will be given to 18.8 million beneficiaries
2. PPKM basic food cards to 5.9 million beneficiary families (KPM) which are regional proposals, and the amount is IDR 200,000 per month for six months
3. Extension of cash social assistance (BST) for two months, May and June which was given in July for IDR 6.14 trillion for 10 million KPM
4. Continuing the provision of Internet quotas for August-December for 38.1 million recipients with a total amount of IDR 5.54 trillion
5. Continuing the electricity discount for three months, October to December amounting to IDR 1.91 trillion for 32.6 million customers
6. Continuing electricity subscription fee assistance for three months, October to December for 1.14 million customers amounting to IDR 420 billion
7. An additional IDR 10 trillion for the Pre-Employment Card program, with details of the wage subsidy that will be given IDR 8.8 trillion and IDR 1.2 trillion will be given through the Pre-Employment Card
8. Donation of 10 kilograms of rice for 28.8 million KPM
9. Productive assistance from the President for micro-enterprises to 1.5 million business actors and each gets IDR 1.2 million
10. Assistance for stalls and street vendors for 1 million recipients of IDR 1.2 million each
11. Business assistance for shop or mall rental costs in the form of value-added tax-deferred by the government for the tax period June-August 2021
