Rehabilitation Request Granted, Dwi Sasono Underwent Treatment At RSKO Up To 6 Months
JAKARTA - The marijuana abuse case that caught Dwi Sasono entered a new chapter. This is because Dwi's request for rehabilitation was finally granted after the assessment process.
Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Detective, Police Commissioner Vivick Tjangkung said, in the assessment process, Dwi Sasono was proven to be dependent on cannabis and no indication of involvement in narcotics trafficking was found. So, his submission was granted.
"Yes, because of dependency and not being involved in the network," Vivick told VOI, Tuesday, June 9.
With the application being granted, continued Vivick, Dwi Sasono will be taken to the Drug Addiction Hospital (RSKO), Cibubur, East Jakarta, on Tuesday, June 9 afternoon.
Dwi Sasono will undergo treatment to be free from drug traps for a maximum of six months at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the legal process that caught him was still running according to the applicable regulations.
"DS can be treated at the RSKO which is given 3 months to 6 months and the legal process continues," said Vivick.
Previously, Dwi Sasono was arrested for storing and positively consuming marijuana. The evidence that was secured was dry marijuana weighing 16 grams. The item is stored in one of the cupboards in his house.
"During a search at DS's residence, it was found that nearly 16 grams of cannabis was hidden in a cupboard somewhere," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus.
From the examination, Dwi Sasono consumed marijuana for the past month with the excuse of filling his spare time and having trouble sleeping during the morning of COVID-19.
