Super Junior's KRY Sub Unit Shows Off Its Ability With Ballad Songs Through When We Were Us
JAKARTA - Long awaited, the sub unit Super Junior KRY officially released its Korean project entitled When We Were Us on Monday, June 8.
Through their first release, Super Junior KRY, consisting of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung, presents a crisp vocal quality. In fact, the three of them made their debut by choosing the ballad genre as the main concept.
No need to adapt, Super Junior KRY's harmonization can be felt through this song. When We Were Us tells the memories between someone and a partner who has left them. Beautiful memories make them unable to lose their lover.
Dominated in blue, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, and Yesung were highlighted a lot during When We Were Us's music video. Not much has changed from the sub-unit that was formed since 2006.
On the other hand, Super Junior KRY finally has a new project in South Korea. Since its formation 14 years ago, KRY has only releases in Japan and a soundtrack for Korean dramas.
Even so, they had time to tour to several countries including Indonesia.
Through the mini album of the same name, Super Junior KRY wants to greet their fans again. A total of 6 tracks, namely Way to Busan, Way Back to You, I Can't, Home, Midnight Story, and the single song When We Were Us have been officially released.
Shortly after being released, the hashtags SuperJunior and WhenWeWereUs immediately occupied trending social media topics.
Now, ELF (as Super Junior fans) can get the When We Were Us album in both physical and digital formats. Watch the music video below.
