5 Regions In North Sumatra Become COVID-19 Red Zones, Including Medan City
MEDAN - The Sumatra Province COVID-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) stated that five regions were included in the COVID-19 red zone category, namely Medan City, Padang Sidimpuan, Deli Serdang Regency, Dairi and Karo.
Based on data from the official COVID-19 Task Force website at covid19.go.id in Medan, the yellow zone or low risk of COVID-19 has decreased very significantly from 15 regions to three regions, namely West Nias, Mandailing Natal and South Nias.
Meanwhile, the orange zone or moderate risk has increased from 12 to 25 regions, namely Pakpak Bharat, Samosir, Tanjung Balai, Tebing Tinggi, Central Tapanuli, Nias, Toba Samosir, North Padang Lawas, South Labuhan Batu, Sibolga.
Then Labuhanbatu, Serdang Bedagai, Coal, Padang Lawas, Gunung Sitoli, South Tapanuli, Simalungun, Humbang Hasundutan, Labuhan Batu Utara, North Nias, Binjai, North Tapanuli, Langkat, Asahan and Pematangsiantar.
The green zone in North Sumatra is currently nil, from the previous six regencies/cities.
