Army Chief Of Staff Facilitates The Treatment Of Soldiers' Children Affected By Brain Inflammation

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Andika Perkasa facilitated that children of soldiers with inflammation of the brain receive intensive care.

TNI General Andika Perkasa said the toddler who had brain inflammation would be treated at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.

"Actually we are ready to evacuate, we have prepared it but the RSPAD doctor said if it could be August, because now there are more COVID-19 than later infected. But the team of doctors has prepared, Mrs. Danyon reminded around early August, "said the Army Chief of Staff, quoted by Antara, Thursday, July 22.

The toddler suffering from inflammation of the brain or encephalitis is the daughter of a soldier Battalion 403/WP Sergeant Dwi Prasetyo, Pramastika Agista Fathiyaturahma. Pramastika Agista is 3 years old, and has been suffering from inflammation of the brain since last July 2019.

The Army Chief of Staff conveyed directly to Pramastika's parents about the treatment plan that the toddler would undergo at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.

This was conveyed when Andika Perkasa together with the General Chairperson of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Hetty Andika Perkasa made a working visit to Yogyakarta, at the 403rd Infantry Battalion/Wirasada Pratista.

Sergeant Dwi Prasetyo and his wife expressed their mixed feelings of joy because their daughter will receive intensive care. He hoped that his second child could recover as usual.

The wife of Sergeant Dwi Prasetyo, Indonesian Army soldier, Beny Ida Ekawati, is grateful for the attention given by Kasad General TNI Andika Perkasa to Pramastika Agista Fathiyaturahma.

"For sure I am very happy, the number 1 person in the TNI AD Mr. Andika Perkasa pays attention to our daughter, of course I am happy and proud. I thank Mr. Kasad and Mrs. Hetty," he said.
