This statement is actually not the first time McGregor has made this statement. In 2016 and 2019, the Irish free fighter also shared similar news. However, it was then that McGregor returned.
UFC President Dana White expressed surprise that this time McGregor's announcement felt like it would be real. Moreover, the 31-year-old fighter showed an amazing 'comeback' when he beat Donald 'Cowboy' Cerone KO in a fight of only 40 seconds.
Reported by Metro.co.uk, Dana White herself revealed that she had planned a fight for McGregor. Dana White will match McGregor with whoever is the winner in the fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje.
