Property Company Owned By Conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja Raup Marketing Sales Of IDR 4.5 Trillion In First Quarter 2021
JAKARTA - Property company PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSD) posted pre-sales or marketing sales of Rp4.5 trillion in the first three months of this year. The property company, owned by the late conglomerate Eka Tjipta Widjaja, grew 56 percent compared to the same period last year of Rp. 2.9 trillion.
"This achievement is a positive signal for us, because we have managed to secure 65 percent of the annual pre-sale target set at Rp7 trillion, at the beginning of this year," said Bumi Serpong Director Damai Hermawan Wijaya, in a written statement, quoted Wednesday, July 21.
The pre-sale of the BSDE stock coded issuer was contributed by the residential segment of IDR 3 trillion or 67 percent of the total marketing sales. Sales in the residential segment mainly came from existing development areas including Mozia, Greenwich, Vanya Park, Tabebuya, The Zora, Nava Park, Banjar Wijaya Park, Grand Wisata and Kota Wisata.
"The new clusters launched or opened are Myza (Flat House and Cozmo House) and Aether," said Hermawan.
Meanwhile, pre-sales of the commercial segment, which includes commercial lots, apartments, and shop houses, were recorded at IDR 1.2 trillion or 26 percent of total marketing sales. From this segment, sales of commercial lots amounted to Rp452 billion, most of which were sold in BSD City, followed by apartments/condos at Rp304 billion and shop houses at Rp411 billion.
The vertical development products sold are mostly supported by The Elements Rasuna CBD Jakarta, Southgate TB Simatupang, Aerium West Jakarta and apartment units in BSD City. Meanwhile, most of the shophouses were contributed by TabeSpots, Virginia Arcade and West Park in BSD City. Judging from the project, Hermawan showed that BSD City Serpong contributed the highest to marketing sales at 48 percent, followed by Nava Park with 23 percent.
The second tier contributors are Grand Wisata (8 percent), Zora (7 percent), Legenda Wisata (3 percent) and Kota Wisata (3 percent). In order to market ready stock units, BSDE also launched a national promotional program "Wish For Home" for the period March to December 2021. The program offers hard cash and express mortgage payment options.
"This promotional program also benefits directly from government programs in order to accelerate economic recovery, by providing a VAT subsidy on every purchase of ready stock property units from January to December 2021 with a price limit of up to IDR 5 billion per unit," said Hermawan.
