Accelerating Village Fund Assistance, Coordinating Minister Muhadjir Effendy Asks Kemendes PDTT To Detail Map Of 75 Thousand Villages
JAKARTA - The Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) has asked the Ministry of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration (Kemendes PDTT) to map 75 thousand villages throughout Indonesia.
Rapid mapping will determine the distribution of Village Fund Direct Cash Assistance (BLT DD).
"Villages or sub-districts that are still having problems are mapped in detail, for example from the degree of the problem, which is the heaviest, which is the lightest. Each party, including the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture will also provide backups," said Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy in a statement. in writing received in Jakarta, Monday, July 19.
He said that the results of the mapping would later be used as a reference for solving various problems in the village in response to the policy of the Implementation of Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM).
He believes that each village has different problems that ultimately hinder the process of distributing BLT DD.
"Of course, to sort out the problems in each of these villages, we have to work together. The most important thing is to go down to the field. For what problem, if it can be solved per level, if it can be solved at the Regent level, yes, the Regent, if it's not finished, convey it to Mr. resolved at a higher level. If possible, it will be finished this week," he said.
Meanwhile, PDTT Village Minister Abdul Halim Iskandar said his ministry would immediately coordinate quickly with the Ministry of Finance regarding regulatory synergies. This is to avoid delays in the BLT DD disbursement process.
He also said that the central government had also provided flexibility for regions, especially village officials, in regulating the provision of BLT DD.
Primarily addressed to communities affected by Emergency PPKM so that they can receive assistance.
"We have conveyed this to each village. So if they are entitled to receive assistance because they are affected, then the data can be entered after going through village meetings," he said.
