The Man In Denpasar Who Opened The Emergency PPKM Blockade Was Arrested By The Police

DENPASAR - A man with the initials IGS (41) was arrested by the police for opening an emergency PPM blockade in Denpasar, Bali.

"The method in question is opening and shifting the barriers and traffic in the blocking area so that vehicles can pass through the partition," said Head of Denpasar Police Headquarters Iptu Ketut Sukadi, Thursday, July 15.

The emergency PPKM blockade opened by IGS is at the Gatsu Barat - Kebo Iwa intersection, West Denpasar. The incident occurred Wednesday, July 14 morning.

At first the IGS perpetrators who were driving a pickup stopped at Jalan Gatus Barat. He lifted the trafficcone and opened the road barrier.

"Then, the person concerned shouted for road users to pass through the barrier. After that, the person concerned left the place heading east," he added.

The police then stopped the perpetrator on Jalan Kebo Iwa. He was also taken to his original location to show evidence of Traffic One and then taken to the Denpasar Police.

When examined, the perpetrator admitted his actions. He admitted he didn't. agree with the pattern of blocking the emergency PPKM in Bali.

"The person in question came again from the east to the south deliberately to open the blockade, because actually he could go straight to the south," he said.

"As a result of the damage to the barrier and traficone so that the insulation opens, it disturbs the officers who carry out the insulation task," continued Iptu Sukadi.
