JCI Closed Wednesday, Gaining Closer To 5,000

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) was able to maintain its gains. JCI on Wednesday, June 3, closed up 1.67 percent or 80.96 points to 4,928.46.

In closing the trade, 251 stocks rose, 161 stocks fell, and 150 shares remained unchanged. The trading volume was recorded at 11.18 billion shares and transacted at Rp12.72 trillion.

Reference indexes such as LQ45 also rose 2.82 percent, IDX30 rose 2.56 percent, and the Jakarta Islamic Index rose 1.96 percent. Foreign investors recorded a net purchase of IDR 1.5 trillion.

This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Kresna Graha Investama Tbk (KREN) which rose 24.68 percent to Rp96, PT Japfa Comfeed Tbk (JPFA) which gained 18.88 percent to Rp1,165, and PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) which strengthened 17.91 percent to Rp790.

Meanwhile, stocks that are in the top losers ranks, including PT Mitra Keluarga Kary Saran Tbk (MIKA) which weakened 6.30 percent to Rp2,380, PT Cahaya Bintang Medan Tbk (CBMF) which fell 5.74 percent to Rp115. and PT Diamond Citra Propertindo Tbk (DADA), which fell 4.82 percent to Rp158.
