TP3 Says There Was Involvement Of State Institutions In The Murder Case Of The 6 Guards Laskar Rizieq Shihab
JAKARTA - The Murder Incident Guard Team (TP3) said that the alleged murder of 6 Rizieq Shihab's guards was not merely political. However, in that case there is also the involvement of state institutions.
"That the systemic or the systematic was not just related to politics, but the other side is about the involvement of state institutions," said Secretary of TP3 Marwan Batubara in an online discussion entitled 'Book Review: The Murder of Six HRS Guards (KM50)' on Wednesday, July 14th.
One of the evidences of the involvement of state agencies was the delivery of information by the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran and TNI Lt. Gen. Dudung Abdurachman, who at that time served as Pangdam Jaya.
At that time, they conveyed about the attack carried out by Rizieq Shihab's bodyguards to the police. "So there we see that there is a systematic element of what the police or police leaders in the regions are doing. Then the leadership from the Kodam in Jakarta," said Marwan.
"This also adds to the systematic element on which we call it a gross violation of human rights," he continued.
In fact, Marwan also said that the Human Rights Commission had not done its job properly. This is because he claims that Komnas HAM has engineered the report on the results of the investigation.
"In fact, Komnas HAM protects the state apparatus involved and fabricated a report, which we have suspected over and over again, this report is fabricated and according to the law this report is inappropriate, not credible and does not follow the actual legal process," he said.
Moreover, continued Marwan, Komnas HAM did not conduct an investigation, but only monitored. However, the state agency in its delivery seemed to have investigated the case.
"In fact, only to carry out monitoring, Komans HAM must obtain permission from the District Court. There is a regulation in Article 89 of Law Number 39 of 99 concerning Human Rights, paragraph 3 letters F, G, and H. That if you want to carry out monitoring, you must first obtain court permission," he said.
