Cirebon Residents Note Yes! 2.175 COVID-19 Social Assistance Packages Already Disbursed, Pick Up At The Post Office
CIREBON - The Cirebon City Government, West Java, distributed the second phase of social assistance (bansos) for people affected by COVID-19 with a target of 2,175 beneficiary families (KPM).
"We have started distributing the second phase of social assistance to residents," said Cirebon City Social Affairs, Women's Empowerment, and Child Protection (DSPPPA) Head Santi Rahayu in Cirebon, Antara, Tuesday, July 13.
He said the distribution of the second phase of social assistance had begun on Tuesday today for 2,175 KPMs that had been registered and contained in the Cirebon Mayor's Decree (SK).
The social assistance was distributed through PT Pos Indonesia. "Because we signed the contract with the Post Office and Bulog," he said.
He added that on the first day of the second phase of the distribution of social assistance, data received from the Post Office showed that 500 packages had been dropped at the Post Office warehouse from the Bulog warehouse for distribution.
The social assistance was distributed to KPM affected by COVID-19 in the form of basic food packages consisting of 10 kilograms of premium rice, one liter of cooking oil, 10 packs of instant noodles, one soy sauce, and two cans of sardines prepared by the Cirebon Bulog Office.
He said that the social assistance was distributed to Harjamukti District as many as 489 KPM, Prosecutors' Office 438 KPM, Kesambi 560 KPM, Lemahwungkuk 361 KPM, and Pekalipan District 327 KPM.
"During 2021, 2,175 KPMs will receive three basic food packages, the funds from which are sourced from the Cirebon City Budget," he said.
