7 Positive Employees Of COVID-19 To Contagion To Wives, PN Sampit Temporarily Closes

SAMPIT - The Sampit District Court, East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan, has suspended activities and temporarily closed because many employees were confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"Lockdown or temporary closure of services as an effort to reduce the number of COVID-19 spreads due to the large number of employees who have been confirmed positive for COVID-19. Sampit Darminto Hutasoit was quoted by Antara, Monday, July 12.

Darminto explained, the results of the PCR swab test showed that there were seven employees who had been confirmed positive for COVID-19, including those whose children and wives were also infected. Today there are 18 employees who underwent a PCR swab test at the Islamic Center Clinic and the results are not yet known.

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission, Darminto decided to do a 'lockdown' or temporarily close. This is also a form of support for the government's program to break the chain of transmission of this deadly virus.

Currently, of the approximately 40 employees at the Sampit District Court, most of them work from home or WFH (work from home). He asked the public to understand the current condition, but his party is trying to keep the service running.

The trial was decided to be temporarily suspended, unless it was urgent or emergency. This is an important step to prevent widespread transmission.

This step is pending the results of the PCR swab of all employees. Employees whose PCR swab results are negative will be able to work to provide services.

During the lockdown, services can still run. For legal remedies, receipt of incoming letters is served specifically according to health protocols. Specifically for services for confiscation or search permits, detention extensions as well as visits and permits are processed through the e-GESIT + online application on the www.gesitplus.pn-sampit.go.id site.

"We support the government's efforts to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19. Today there are 18 people who were swab PCR at KIC. Hopefully the results are negative. But if the results are positive, the lockdown will evaluate whether it will be extended or stopped," said Darminto.
