Serie A Announces Remaining Schedule For 2019-2020 Season, Juventus Vs Lazio On July 20

JAKARTA - The Italian Serie A league has revealed the provisional dates for all the remaining matches. Within the schedule, the competition ended on August 2.

Torino's meeting with Parma at the Stadio Olimpico on June 20 will be the first Serie A match since the league was suspended in March amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

It will be the opener of four extraordinary matches to be played over the weekend. While the next round of matches is played on June 22.

All kick-off times for matches up to and including matchday 35, which will run from July 21-23, have been set. Weekend fixtures are for 17:15, 19:30 and 21:45 local time to escape the intense afternoon heat during the Italian summer.

The Serie A follow-up schedule will be very busy with only six days between 20 June and 23 July without at least one game.

All matches on the last day of the season are scheduled for kick-off at 21:45. However, this schedule may change with different hours depending on the situation in the standings.

Defending champions Juventus are one point ahead of Lazio at the top of the table with 12 games remaining. The two teams will face off in what is arguably the decisive match at the Allianz Stadium on July 20.

Italy's domestic season is expected to resume marked by the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final on 13 June. The final party, officially confirmed will be held June 17.

It is hoped that the Champions League and Europa League will resume in August.
