JAKARTA - There is information circulating that Pertamina will close public fuel stations (SPBU) on July 12-17. Information about the closure of this gas station is just a hoax.
Pertamina through its Twitter account confirmed that the information circulating about the closure of gas stations was a hoax.

This hoax news spread through the form of images and videos. In a video circulating on the WhatsApp group, the hoax maker narrated the closure of the gas station during an emergency PPKM by also including a photo of the gas station, President Commissioner Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati.
The hoax of closing gas stations also spread to a number of areas, including Kudus, Central Java. Pertamina also informed that the closing of the gas station was a hoax because during the emergency PPKM the gas station was still open.
"All gas stations, pertashops, LPG agents, fuel terminals and integrated terminals operate normally during the implementation of emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM)," said Unit Manager Communication, Relations, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Pertamina's Central Java Regional Marketing Brasto Galih.
