Noble Role Against COVID-19, Governor Edy Thanked Volunteers Vaccination
SUMUT - North Sumatra Governor (Gubsu) Edy Rahmayadi said the work of vaccinators is very noble because they play a role in providing vaccinations to the community for the prevention of COVID-19.
"What this vaccinator does needs to be appreciated because it provides vaccinations to residents to stay healthy and avoid COVID-19," said Gubsu Edy during the Supplementary Vaccination Preparedness Ceremony at the North Sumatra Police Headquarters, as reported by Antara, Saturday, July 10.
Governor Edy thanked the volunteers who were willing to become vaccinators. "The task of the vaccinator is also very important in determining the success of the vaccination, which is currently being intensively implemented," said the former Kostrad Commander.
Meanwhile, the North Sumatra Regional Police added 4,934 medical teams in handling the acceleration of COVID-19 vaccination in the North Sumatra region.
"Thank you to the components of the community in the health sector and all levels who are ready to support vaccination activities," said North Sumatra Police Chief Inspector General Putra Simanjuntak, while leading the Additional Vaccination Readiness Appeal in North Sumatra Province, at the Regional Police Headquarters.
The Kapolda said that this vaccinator was also attended by community groups, the academic community and mass organizations who have been trained to support the success of vaccination in the community.
"North Sumatra Province is currently experiencing an increase in COVID-19. The police together with the joint apparatus have taken several steps such as the Yustisi Operation and provide understanding to protect themselves and prevent the spread of COVID-19," he said.
