COVID-19 Update As Of July 10: 35,094 New Cases And Healing Rate 28,561

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. From a total of 194,559 specimens examined, 35,094 new cases were added.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 2,491,006 people and active cases are 373,440," according to data from the Ministry of Health, Saturday, July 10.

Next, the recovered cases today increased by 28,561 so that in total there are 2,052,109 people who have been declared cured from exposure to COVID-19.

As for the death rate, there was an addition of 826 people so that the total accumulation reached 65,457 people. The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 12,920 cases and a total of 649,309 cases.

Followed by West Java which has 4,926 new cases with a total of 445,303 cases. Central Java has 3,618 new cases and a total of 288,978 cases. Then, East Java had 2,237 new cases and a total of 191,942 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 16,839 recovered cases. Followed by West Java with an increase of 3,999 recovered cases, Central Java with an increase of 1,610 recovered cases, and East Java with an increase of 1,217 recovered cases.

"Positive results per number of specimens examined or this week's positivity rate is 41.46 percent," the data from the Ministry of Health wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases, was recorded at 135,378 people. Currently, 510 districts/cities from 34 provinces have had COVID-19 cases.

Furthermore, currently there are 36,193,076 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 14,969,330 of the second dose of vaccination. The target for vaccination is 40,349,049 people.
