The TNI Has A Helmet To Detect Body Temperature That Can Be Used Up To A Distance Of 10 Meters
JAKARTA - Indonesian Army (AD) personnel are deployed to discipline the public in implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19. To do this, the TNI apparatus will use high-tech helmets.
Kadispenad Colonel Inf Nefra Firdaus explained, the KC wearable thermal helmet is an innovation to detect the body temperature of several people at the same time.
This helmet is claimed to be faster and more effective than a thermal gun. The embedded technology will be able to minimize the risk of transmitting COVID-19 to temperature check officers due to close contact, such as using a thermal gun.
"This innovation can detect a person's body temperature through a distance of up to 10 meters. In addition, it can check the body temperature of more people and of course the time will be faster and more effective," said Nefra in his statement, Saturday, May 30.

One of the training participants from the AD Officers Candidate School health in Bandung, Letda Ckm (K) Eva said, KC wearable thermal helmets help medical personnel because they are faster in detecting body temperature.
"So far, to check body temperature, we do it one by one and at a close distance. However, with this tool we can detect a person's body temperature more quickly, and can be done remotely without having to approach the person," said Eva.
As previously reported, TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto will deploy TNI and Polri troops at 1,800 points in four provinces and 25 districts / cities to discipline the public in implementing health protocols to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
"The objects are public traffic places, malls, public markets, tourism places and from the existing data in 4 provinces and 25 districts / cities, there are 1,800 objects that we will implement the discipline," said Hadi.
According to Hadi, the disciplinary health protocol will be carried out in stages. The implementation of discipline, for example, is to ensure that residents who come to these places wear masks.
"What we are doing is first, we have to monitor the entire community so that they keep wearing masks, secondly we have to maintain a safe distance and then we provide a place to wash hands or provide hand sanitizers, hopefully with this activity the first stage can run well," he explained .
In the first phase, the TNI-Polri plan will arrange the capacity of these public places so that they will only be filled with half the visitors. Starting from the mall or place to eat will be under the supervision of the TNI.
"In the first stage, we will arrange the mall with a capacity of 1,000 (people), maybe we will allow it for 500 (people) only and we will supervise it, then the place to eat should be 500 (people) only 200 (people)," said Hadi.
Later, TNI and Polri troops will cooperate with local governments including coordinating with task forces in each province, district and city.
"Hopefully what we want all the people to stay active but still safe from COVID-19, therefore I ask for the support of all colleagues for the successful implementation of the health protocol discipline. Hopefully the 4 provinces and 25 districts / cities. R0 can drop to 0.7 to the bottom, which is better, "he explained.
