Anies Threatens Subordinates To Disobey PPKM Emergency: Please Step Back, Otherwise We Will Stop
JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has warned his staff about the sanctions for dismissal for those who violate the Emergency PPKM rules. This was followed by the dismissal of 8 officers from the Department of Transportation for hanging out at a coffee shop.
Anies conveyed this warning at the afternoon rally at DKI City Hall in addition to announcing the dismissal of the Dishub officer.
"Those who are not dedicated, please get out of line. If you don't back down, we will stop. This is one of the actions taken to ensure that the ranks in DKI Jakarta are straight, upright, enforce all existing rules. This is a lesson and a lesson for all ," said Anies, Friday, July 9.
Anies said that the disciplinary measures against the eight Dishub officers were because they were individuals who wore uniforms, moved, acted, acted on behalf of the state. People who act on behalf of the state, continued Anies, should not violate the rules.
"This is a message to all. If you commit a violation, if you act inappropriately, while you carry state attributes, then the attributes are removed and the work bond is terminated," said Anies.
Anies also expressed his gratitude to other Dishub ranks who have been disciplined in enforcing the rules and being the frontline in reducing population mobility during the emergency PPKM.
"We convey our appreciation to them. Those who work non-stop, work until morning, when the majority of the population is resting. They are highly dedicated people. To them, we express our gratitude and appreciation," he said.
As is known, circulating on social media a video showing a number of Dishub officers gathered in a coffee shop. This video was recorded by a resident.
In the video recording, a resident admitted that he had just been dismissed by Dishub officers for gathering at a coffee shop at night.
However, after that, a number of officers did not leave the place and instead hung out at the shop and enjoyed sipping coffee. Several officers' vehicles were seen parked in front of the shop.
"Still hanging out, we're disbanded. I'm recording the main thing. From Dishub everything is gathering, we can't hang out. These cars and motorbikes (Dishub operations) are there," said the video recorder.
As a result, Anies immediately took steps to fire officers who violated the provisions of the Emergency PPKM.
