SOLO - Mayor of Surakarta, Central Java, Gibran Rakabuming Raka stated that the mobility of residents in this city is still quite high during the implementation of the implementation of the emergency community activity restrictions (PPKM), so the effectiveness of the program has not been seen.
"Since the emergency PPKM was implemented, the first two days have been like normal," Gibran said in Solo, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 9.
Therefore, according to him, blocking of a number of roads must be done to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19, especially in the city of Solo.
"This is for our common good, (citizens) must reduce mobility," continued Gibran.
