This Is A Darkseid Appearance In Zack Snyder's Justice League Version
JAKARTA - Zack Snyder teased fans by releasing the first appearance of the Justice League character, Darkseid, who will appear in a new cut of the film.
Snyder was originally attached to the DC film but left the project while it was in post-production in 2016 following the death of his son. Before long, Joss Whedon took over directorial duties.
Since the film's release in 2017, fans and the main cast have called for the release of a version of Snyder - dubbed 'Snyder Cut'. It has since been confirmed that a Justice League version of Synder will be available on HBO Max next year.
On Twitter earlier this week, the director shared the first sightings of the villain Darkseid, played by Ray Porter. The scenes are not included in the Whedon film version.
It's currently unclear how Darkseid will fit into the original version of Justice League. Check out Snyder's post below.

Warner Bros funded the completion of Snyder Cut, rehired the original post-production crew and got the actors to record additional dialogue. The film is expected to premiere on HBO Max in 2021.

Since Snyder's version of Justice League was confirmed to be broadcast, Suicide Squad fans have started a similar campaign to get the original version of David Ayer's DC film. Ayer directed the 2016 release and reportedly initially made a film very different from the one released in theaters.

In response to calls from fans, Ayer wrote on Twitter: “I fully respect and support the extraordinary path that the DCU is taking under [Warner Bros] supervision. Other versions of my Suicide Squad may always be just rumors. And that's fine. "
