Nia Ramadhani And Ardi Bakrie 5 Months Of Consuming Sabu, What Are The Impacts On Health?
JAKARTA - Celebrity Nia Ramadhani admitted that she had consumed methamphetamine for the last 5 months with her husband, Ardi Bakrie.
Psychiatrist (psychiatrist) Clinic Angsamerah dr. Ratna Mardianti, SpKJ said, the impact of using methamphetamine in the long term would be bad for the health of the body.
Methamphetamine is a stimulant that can stimulate people to be active and not get tired easily in activities but can cause serious effects on health both in the short and long term.
"In the beginning, it was good, just because he was active, didn't sleep, didn't rest, his health was disturbed. His concentration was disturbed, his appetite was also reduced," Ratna said when contacted by Antara, Jakarta, Friday, July 9.
If someone consumes meth for a long time, it will experience problems in several parts of the organs in the body.
"Imagine him not sleeping and not eating for a long time, his blood pressure is increasing, his heart is also problematic, his muscles work is problematic, even the brain too."
Ratna continued that there is no guarantee for people who are addicted to taking drugs to recover completely because according to her, people who are addicted to drugs can only be recovered from that bad habit.
"It's hard for him to usually take stimulants and then get used to not using them anymore. So it can only be controlled. If tomorrow he is tired again but still has to be active again, he might be tempted to use it again," said Ratna.
In addition, Ratna said the rehabilitation time for each person will be different depending on the severity and the person's intention to change.
