Details Of The Google Pixel 6 Series Sticking Out, Equipped With A 5000mAh Battery

JAKARTA - The Google Pixel 6 series is highly anticipated. Some of its predecessor phones were quite successful in the market. It is claimed, the Google Pixel 6 will come with a fresh design and a special processor.

According to a report compiled from Gizmochina, Friday, July 9, Google will launch two phones from the series at once, namely the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

If according to schedule, both phones will be released later this year. The Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are codenamed Oriole and Raven, respectively. The information was first revealed by Front Page Tech and XDA Developers. The following leaked specifications and designs of the two phones.

Pixel 6

This phone is allegedly going to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen. The custom GS101 chipset will be paired with 8GB of RAM and buyers can choose between having 128GB or 256GB of storage.

In the camera sector, the Pixel 6 has a 50MP wide-angle main camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. While the selfie camera has an 8MP sensor. The phone packs a slightly different 4614mAh battery from its predecessor Pixel 5 and already runs Android 12.

Pixel 6 Pro

While the Pixel 6 Pro has a 6.71-inch Plastic OLED (P-OLED) screen. It comes with 12GB RAM and will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB storage. Along with a 50MP wide angle camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.

Unlike the regular version, the Pixel 6 Pro has a 48MP telephoto camera. Supported by a larger battery that is 5000mAh.

More interesting info revealed in the leak is that the Pixel 6 series will have software support for at least 5 years.

However, it is not specified if that means five OS upgrades or a combination of OS upgrades and security updates lasting up to 5 years.

Hopefully, that's at least three OS upgrades, maybe even four, with a fifth year for additional security updates before the end of their lifespan.

Although there is no confirmed release date yet, the source revealed that the Pixel 6 series could launch in October.
