AHY-Ibas Duo Calls Indonesia "Failed Nation" Facing COVID-19, Jokowi Volunteers: Old Songs Find Stage
JAKARTA - Volunteer Jokowi Mania (Joman) criticized the statement of the General Chairperson of the Democratic Party DPP, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and the chairman of the Democratic Party faction in the DPR, Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono (Ibas) who said they were worried that Indonesia would become a failed nation.
This title was made by AHY-Ibaas because he considered the government failed to handle the COVID-19 pandemic.
The head of Joman Volunteers, Immanuel Ebenezer, said that the statements made by the brothers from the Cikeas palace were just to find a stage to increase the electability of their party.
"AHY and Ibas are looking for a political platform to increase the popularity of the Democrats," said Immanuel, Thursday, July 8.
Immanuel, who is familiarly called Noel, assessed that such patterns of criticism are ways and tricks that are often played by the Democratic Party. In fact, a similar pattern has been applied when there were many disputes over the extraordinary Democratic congress (KLB).
"This old song has been rearranged. The old pattern continues to be played by the Democrats. During the Democratic KLB, they accused Jokowi of being involved. As a result, the version of their paid survey agency, he said, the Democratic rating rose," said Noel
According to him, the Yudhoyono duo is not equipped with the quality of the R&D team and good communication in commenting. Thus, AHY-EBY's analysis is a lot inconsequential because the data used is not qualitative.
"Defining a failed nation, aka a failed nation, they are wrong. The country is fighting against the pandemic. We will definitely win, not a single country today has lost against COVID-19," said Noel.
The former '98 activist also suggested that the Democrats should take a leading position to support the people against COVID-19. Rather, just criticizing just to seek attention increases popularity.
"As long as it sounds criticizing, finding fault with it leads to efforts to increase the party's popularity," said Noel.
Previously, Deputy Chairperson of the Democratic Party (Waketum PD) Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono or Ibas reminded the government about handling COVID-19. He also questioned when Indonesia would be free from the viciousness of the deadly virus.
"COVID-19 is getting more and more 'ferocious'. Many families, friends and in our environment have been exposed and even died. How long will our nation continue like this?" said Ibas, Wednesday, July 7th.
The chairman of the DPR Democrat Party faction has warned the state to be able to save people's lives. Because, Ibas does not want Indonesia to be called a 'failed nation' or 'failed nation'.
"Don't let our country be called a 'failed nation' due to the country's inability to save its people," he said.
