Maguire missed England's opening two games at Euro 2020 through injury. Once featured, he played his key role for the Three Lions.
"Harry Maguire looks confident and comfortable, even more for his country than for Manchester United," Vidic wrote for The Athletic.
"He is a defender who is still developing, but if he wants to be recognized at the highest level, he has to win trophies. When I look at Maguire, I see a defender who is good at everything, 8/10 in everything."
Vidic then said, Maguire might not be as smart and as fast as Rio Ferdinand when he had the ball. His tackles and headers are not as good as him either. However, the quality is evenly distributed in all aspects.

"He is fast when running, he is quite strong, he can jump high and dribble, his positioning is good."
Maguire played 120 minutes as England beat Denmark 2-1 in the Euro 2020 semifinals on Thursday. He successfully helped his country reach their inaugural final at the Euros as well as their first final at the prestigious tournament since winning the 1966 World Cup.
