Note, Kasad Andika Perkasa: No Fees In Accepting Candidates For Military Academy Cadets

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) General TNI Andika Perkasa confirmed that there will be no fees for the admission of 2021 Military Academy (Akmil) cadet candidates. This was confirmed in an official TNI AD broadcast received in Jakarta, Thursday, July 8. Acceptance of TNI AD soldiers starting from registration to selection and later being elected to become a soldier, through stages that are absolutely free of charge.

"For what? Because there is none. Registering and becoming a selection participant for the prospective Military Academy cadets is free of charge," said Kasad Andika Perkasa.

General TNI Andika Perkasa even gave the contact numbers of officials at Headquarters to the parents of prospective cadets as a complaint telephone number.

Parents of prospective cadets are asked to report if there are people who claim to be able to help qualify prospective cadets to become soldiers by asking for money. "If there are members of the TNI AD or even not members but claim to be able to help by asking for money, report them to the previous cellphone numbers," said Kasad General TNI Andika Perkasa.

The numbers given include the numbers for Aspers Kasad, Waaspers Kasad Bid Renpers, and Paban III/Binteman, as well as hotline numbers that are directly connected to Headquarters.

Kasad also said that the process of accepting prospective cadets was transparent and open. The prospective cadets who are declared to have passed are of course those who meet the capacity and quality requirements as soldiers of the Indonesian Army.

"Essentially, ladies and gentlemen, we provide opportunities for all, nothing special, all can enter and of course we choose those who meet the requirements," said TNI General Andika Perkasa.

Kasad reminded that parents of prospective cadets are not easily fooled by irresponsible people. According to him, parents are enough to prepare and improve their children's abilities so that they can meet the requirements when selected later.

"Don't let any parents be tricked later, for what? Because this is where we announced nothing at all about money. Ladies and gentlemen, just prepare their sons, if their sons graduate, we will certainly accept them," said TNI General Andika Perkasa as reported by Antara.

Kasad General TNI Andika Perkasa has conducted a teleconference with all parents or guardians of prospective cadets to explain the process of accepting prospective Akmil cadets. The teleconference took place at 76 points spread throughout the Military Regional Command Headquarters (Kodam), to the Military Resort Command Headquarters (Korem).
