Kapuas Regent And Wife Reported To Central Kalimantan Police For Alleged Fraud
PALANGKA RAYA - The Regent of Kapuas, Central Kalimantan, with the initials BB (63) and his wife were reported by a man named Charles Theodore to the Central Kalimantan Police regarding a case of alleged money fraud of Rp.
The Head of Public Relations of the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Kismanto Eko Saputro, confirmed the report regarding the alleged fraud.
"The report has indeed been received. This matter is still in the clarification stage," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 7.
Meanwhile, the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Central Kalimantan Police, Kombes Budi Hariyanto, confirmed separately that there were reports of fraud and that the victim was Charles Theodore.
The case is now in the planning stage to begin clarifying the parties involved in the report.
"Regarding when the reported party plans to conduct an examination, we can't say for sure because we have to wait for the other witnesses first," said Budi.
Meanwhile, Baron Ruhat Binti, a lawyer, Charles Theodore when met by reporters at the Central Kalimantan Regional Police, said that today the victim was presented to the local police for clarification regarding this matter.
In the clarification carried out by investigators, apart from examining the victim, there were also the most important key witnesses who were examined, in order to provide information regarding this matter.
"Who and how this case, please confirm with the Ditreskrimum Polda Central Kalimantan. We are very grateful to them for being very responsive in handling this case," said Baron.
Regarding the report, the journalist clarified to the Kapuas Regent through his personal WhatsApp message, but until this news was published there had been no response.
