Now The Ibis Kuta Hotel Is Prepared To Be A Quarantine Place For COVID-19 Patients With Mild Symptoms, Including For Caucasians In Bali
DENPASAR - The Bali Province COVID-19 Task Force has prepared the Ibis Kuta Hotel, Badung Regency, as a quarantine place for patients or confirmed cases of COVID-19 with mild symptoms.
"There are 190 beds or beds prepared in this hotel," said Secretary of the Bali Province COVID-19 Task Force I Made Rentin in Denpasar, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 7.
His party has again prepared hotels for quarantine places for COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms because hotels and quarantine places prepared by districts/cities are no longer able to accommodate the surge in the number of new COVID-19 cases.
"The district/city task force will later screen, only those with mild symptoms will be transferred to the Ibis Kuta Hotel, while those with moderate and severe symptoms will be automatically treated at a referral hospital," he continued.
Asymptomatic confirmed positive cases (OTG) will be directed to self-isolation with strict health protocols.
"Confirmed cases of COVID-19 with mild symptoms, in accordance with the direction of the Bali Head of Health, later when at the hotel in one room can be filled by two people," he said.
This, said Rentin, because the contexts are both positive for COVID-19, so it is safe if two people are occupied in one room.
"If there is an increase or there are complaints for symptoms, then we prepare an ambulance to evacuate to the hospital," said the man who is also the Chief Executive of the Bali Province Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
For foreign nationals (foreigners) and confirmed COVID-19 with a non-Balinese ID card, they are directed to self-quarantine at the hotel.
"Of course, hotels that have received recommendations at their own expense," said Rentin.
