Many DPR Members Died Of COVID-19, Wasekjen PAN Asks The Government To Provide A Special Hospital For State Officials

JAKARTA - Deputy Secretary General (Wasekjen) of DPP PAN, Rosaline Irine Rumaseuw, asked the government to provide a special hospital for state officials or council members infected with COVID-19.

The reason is, in recent days many members of the House of Representatives and other state officials have fallen against the deadly virus. Even milling sad news.

"I've been helping state officials for one month, two months to refer to hospitals in Jakarta. The government has forgotten that it must provide health facilities for state officials. I know there is an RSPAD, but once Corona was born, we weren't ready so health facilities didn't exist. We are too complacent that all of Jakarta exists even though it doesn't exist," said dr. Rosaline in a webinar 'Netizens' Perceptions of Handling COVID-19', Wednesday, July 7.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Health must start to be wary of non-existent health facilities. According to him, this state official should be privileged. Because, officials are placed to think about the country and its people.

"How did this happen until he came to the emergency room and continued to languish? I was sad, I faced it, until I had one friend, Commission II, who just died three days ago. I started begging, I have a PAN faction leader, I have friends from deputy chairman of Commission IX, I have the general chairman of PAN all begging to Medistra Hospital until there is room. That's how much it takes," said Rosaline.

"I ask the government to pay attention to how there should be a special hospital for state officials. So many council people don't think about their health problems," he continued.

Rosaline said that until she filled this webinar, she was still managing several members of the DPR who were exposed to COVID-19 who did not receive treatment rooms.

"It's all on the floor in the hospital, everyone is trying to buy a wheelchair so they can sit. So while I'm taking the webinar I'll take care of it," he explained.

In addition, added Rosaline, as a health worker, she criticized that Prokes education about COVID-19 did not work. In fact, until now there is no health promotion on social media.

There is, he said, on television a lot of scary news, so let alone the health workers when the fever is already panicking.

"As a doctor, I ask the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, that what is shown on TV is not dead people, but health promotion education," he said.
