Not Only Social Assistance Of Rp600 Thousand, Social Minister Risma Ensures Residents Receive 10 Kg Of Rice During The Emergency PPKM Period Masa
JAKARTA - Minister of Social Affairs (Mensos) Tri Rismaharini ensures that each recipient of the Cash Social Assistance (BST) and Family Hope Program (PKH) will receive an additional 10 kilograms of rice during the emergency PPKM period.
"BST and PKH are distributed each to 10 million recipients plus 10 kilograms of rice," said Social Minister Risma in a statement quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 7.
10 kilograms of rice will be distributed by Perum Bulog, considering that Bulog's network exists throughout Indonesia. "We sent data on BST and PKH recipients to Bulog and they distributed the rice through their network throughout Indonesia," said Risma.
The update of BST recipient data in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) has been completed since last weekend and is ready to be used in distribution.
Priority for distribution of BST in areas that implement emergency PPKM and other places by utilizing technology. For the distribution of BST in May-June, recipients will receive Rp. 600,000 plus 10 kilograms of rice from Bulog.
"BST and PKH recipients receive 10 kilograms of rice distributed by Bulog, not by banks," said Risma.
For distribution of BST through PT Pos Indonesia, PKH will be distributed through the Association of State Banks (Himbara), as well as rice through Perum Bulog.
"Distribution has started since last week in stages after the DTKS update was carried out," said Risma.
Previously, Risma said that the social assistance will be disbursed this week according to the President's instructions as the Java-Bali Emergency Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) are implemented starting from 3-20 July 2021.
"So, according to the President's instructions to accelerate the disbursement of social assistance this week, so that it can immediately help the community," said Risma.
The budget is for 10 million BST recipients worth Rp 6.1 trillion, PKH targets 10 million recipients worth Rp 13.96 trillion, and for Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) for 18.8 million recipients worth Rp 45.12 trillion.
