This is a warning to companies outside the essential sector who are still stubborn about asking their employees to work in the office or work from office (WFO) during the Emergency PPKM period.

In uploading a video on his Instagram, Anies inspected two non-essential offices in the Sahid Sudirman Center building. Anies entered the offices of Ray White Indonesia and PT Equity Life Indonesia and found that there were employees working in the offices.

"I ask everyone, don't imitate what happened, we just saw," said Anies

"I told the manager earlier, make rules to protect employees and the owner must be responsible. The owner should not take shelter at home, isolate at home, but the workers are told to go to work," he continued.

Anies was even more furious to see an employee who was pregnant but still asked to work in the office. "There are pregnant women who are still working. I have warned the human resources manager. Protect women, protect pregnant women, they shouldn't go to work like this," said Anies.

It would be dangerous, said Anies, if pregnant women were exposed to COVID-19 just because they were forced by the WFO. This is because this vulnerable group, if infected with the corona virus, will experience high complications.

"This violation is not just a violation of regulations made by the government, but this is a violation of humanitarian responsibility," he said.

Offices that violated were immediately sealed, their offices closed, all employees were sent home to work from home and the owner/manager of the office was prosecuted by the police.

Therefore, Yuliarti said her company was still implementing work from office (WFH) with a capacity of 50 percent.

"For this reason, we continue to open limited marketing and service offices throughout Indonesia during the implementation of this PPKM restriction. We ensure that in carrying out business and operational activities we always comply with the provisions set by the government," he said.

Yuliarti also admitted that currently her office was temporarily sealed by the DKI Provincial Government. However, no other sanctions have been imposed after the inspection incident. "There is no sanction yet. From the legal side (the company) no one has said anything, really," he said.
