Who Is Junior Firpo, Leeds United's New Recruit For IDR 257 Billion?
JAKARTA - Leeds United have officially signed versatile defender Junior Firpo from Barcelona and signed him for four years for an undisclosed fee.
However, as reported by Antara from Reuters on Wednesday, July 7, British media reported that Leeds had spent around £12.8 million (Rp257 billion) for the 24-year-old Spaniard.

Firpo, who plays mostly at left-back and can become a centre-back, made his breakthrough at Real Betis before moving to Barca on a five-year contract in 2019.
He played 41 times for the Catalan side in the last two seasons, helping them win the Copa Del Rey last term.

Firpo, who is Leeds' third signing of the season, will wear the number three shirt.
Leeds are strengthening their options at left-back after Ezgjan Alioski left the club on Monday with his contract running out, ending his four-season career at Elland Road.
The West Yorkshire club finished ninth in the English Premier League last season.
