Starting From Playing Nirvana Songs, Travis Barker And Post Malone Continue Collaboration

JAKARTA - Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker confirmed that he and Post Malone are planning to collaborate on writing songs together.

Barker recently took part in charity streaming Posty - the rapper's nickname. The two of them appeared together performing Nirvana songs.

Speaking to Spin in a recent interview, Barker said the experience of playing with Malone had been great. He revealed that now they want to collaborate further in the form of a songwriting session.

"I went to Salt Lake just to write songs for the week with him. Just jam and have fun," said the drummer, before remembering how they practiced performing songs by the legendary grunge band Nirvana.

“I went there the day before and we went to the set once. Then the next day we went to the set one time and we just played it (Nirvana songs). You can't practice a Nirvana song excessively or you'll lose the atmosphere of the song. "

Barker added that the whole atmosphere of the meeting with Posty was very relaxed. He went on to say "whatever happens, happens" regarding the possible outcome of the songwriting session with the rapper.

Meanwhile, Malone and Barker's Nirvana tribute drew praise from Dave Grohl. Vocalist for Foo Fighters said the show was great.
