Not Only In Jakarta, But In Bandung There Are Still Offices That Violate The WFH 100 Percent Emergency PPKM Rules
BANDUNG - Bandung Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKBP Adanan Mangopang said his party still found companies that employed 100 percent of their employees during the Emergency Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) period.
According to Adanan, the private office is included in the non-essential category which is obliged to apply the rule of 100 percent of its employees working from home (WFH). In addition to offices, he said, there are also other business entities that violate the same thing.
"There are 19 that we have followed are business entities such as shop owners, workshop owners and also several private offices that work in the non-essential sector, which 100 percent should carry out WFH," said Adanan at Polrestabes Bandung, West Java, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, July 6. .
AKBP Adanan said that a number of companies and business entities that violated the PPKM rules were found when his party was conducting judicial operations with elements of the Satpol PP.
According to him, the business sector was subject to sanctions, namely minor crimes for not complying with government regulations and not implementing health protocols.
In addition to employing all of their employees, these companies are also not equipped with health protocol facilities, such as hand washing stations, social distancing signs, and other elements.
The law enforcement, said Adanan, was carried out on the spot because the joint operation involved judges from the Bandung District Court and the Bandung District Attorney's Office.
"The goal is only one, namely to provide a deterrent effect and increase community discipline so that people do not gather together and then break the chain of spread of COVID-19," he said.
Based on the West Java Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 5 of 2021 regarding the rules for peace, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, the violators are threatened with a fine of Rp. 100,000 to Rp. 50 million.
In addition, the manager is threatened with sanctions in the form of a written warning up to a maximum prison sentence of up to 3 years.
"But in the operation, the judge decided to impose a fine of between Rp. 100,000 and Rp. 300,000 and pay it on the spot and deposit it into the regional treasury," said Adanan.
