Woman Who Viralized Restaurant In Padang Langar Prokes To Call The Government A Tyrant Checked By The Police

JAKARTA - The West Sumatra Regional Police (Polda) examined a woman with the initial Y (55) who went viral on social media while commenting on a restaurant in Padang City that did not implement health protocols.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Sumatra Police, Kombes Satake Bayu, said that the examination was carried out for four hours on Sunday, July 4 from 22.00 WIB until Monday, July 5 in the morning.

"Currently, the status of the person concerned is still being investigated," he said in Padang, as reported by Antara, Tuesday, July 6.

He said investigators took the woman into custody and examined the statement in the video.

According to him, when making the video the woman only returned to Padang City on Friday, July 2 and was shared in a WhatsApp group application.

He said the officers examined the woman in relation to the Electronic Information and Transactions Act (ITE) which carries a penalty of five years in prison.

The examination process relates to the statement in the video and is examined with Article 45 a juncto Article 28 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning ITE and or Article 160 juncto 270.

Previously, this video of the mother with the initial Y went viral on social media with a duration of one minute and five seconds.

In the video, a woman wearing a black headscarf can be seen saying she was at the Bebek Sawah Restaurant in Padang City while showing the condition of the restaurant.

"In Padang, the city is free. What we eat, nothing is locked down, there are no restrictions and barriers. Look, it's crowded. Nothing, everyone is free, there's no social distancing," he said in the video. .

The woman whose identity is not yet clear revealed that the city of Padang is safe and not afraid of the corona. He also questioned why residents in Jakarta panicked.

"Padang is safe, not afraid of corona. Look, look. I'm in Padang, eating at the Bebek Sawah Restaurant. Crowded, no social distancing. Free. Why are we all panicking in Jakarta?," he said.

"Don't panic, just keep fighting, the government is tyrannical, let's eat everyone," the video said.
