Police Raid A Scout Market Drug Store Selling Ivermectin For IDR 475 Thousand Per Box From The Original Price Of IDR 75 Thousand

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya raided a drug store in the Pramuka Market area, East Jakarta, which sold Ivermectin drugs that did not match the highest retail price (HET). The store also does not have a sales license.

"The name of the shop is SJ. It was found that the ivermectin drugs were sold at a fairly high price, not in accordance with the highest retail price set by the Ministry of Health," said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Tuesday, July 6. .

This shop raid took place on Saturday, July 4th. The raid was carried out because the shop owner with the initials R sold the drug ivermectin for IDR 475 thousand per box. In fact, the price that has been determined is only Rp. 75 thousand per box.

"In the list of the Ministry of Health, the price per 1 tablet is IDR 7,500 per tablet. One box like this contains 10 tablets, so the HET is IDR 75 thousand," said Yusri.

"This price was found to be around Rp. 475 thousand per box, so it rose from Rp.

In addition, the drugstore did not have a license to sell the drug. Because there must be a license to sell drugs that are not sold freely.

"The stipulation is that the pharmacy has a STRTTK permit or a registration certificate for pharmaceutical engineering personnel. This must be owned by the selling shop," he said.

On the other hand, the police are still developing and investigating allegations of other parties playing the selling price of drugs. In taking action, the police rely on the HET issued by the Ministry of Health.

"We are still in the process and we are still continuing to deepen and investigate the possibility of other speculators playing to raise prices," said Yusri.

In this case, investigators will use Article 198 of the Health Law number 36 of 2009, Law number 6 of 2018 concerning Health Quarantine. In fact, it is possible to apply other articles.
