Faced With England In The Euro 2020 Semifinals, Denmark Only Gets 6.000 Tickets From A Total Of 60 Thousand Wembley Capacity
JAKARTA - Supporters from Denmark are not allowed to attend the semifinals of Euro 2020 when their country faces England at Wembley, London, Wednesday, July 7 tomorrow due to travel restrictions related to COVID-19 that apply there.
Visitors from Denmark in the UK are required to undergo a 10-day quarantine, but it is possible to pay for a COVID-19 test on the fifth day to end the isolation period early if they test negative.

Unfortunately, as the semifinals are held on Wednesday, there is very little chance for the arrivals from Denmark to complete their isolation period in time.
"We are very sad and difficult to understand. We are trying everything to find a solution because Danish fans have been the foundation of our success at the Euros", wrote the Danish football association, DBU, on its official website as quoted by Antara, Tuesday.
Nevertheless, Denmark received an allocation of 6.000 of the total 60.000 capacity allowed for the semifinals.
"Do you know the Danes in England or Scotland? They have to carry on the torch of the best fan spirit in the world. There are a lot of tickets for the Danes in England and they have to come to RANG!!" DBU commercial chairman Ronnie Hansen tweeted via his personal Twitter account, @RonnieHansen.
The DBU said 4.800 tickets had already been sold for Danes in the UK and they said they would send 1.000 jerseys and Danish knick-knacks to London.
Denmark along with their supporters experienced an emotional journey throughout Euro 2020 after the collapse of Christian Eriksen in the opening group match.
After shocking champions in 1992, this is only the first time Denmark has reached the last four of the Euros again after eliminating Wales and the Czech Republic on the way.
If able to overthrow the host England, Denmark has the opportunity to meet Italy or Spain in the final.
