Emergency PPKM STRP System Error, Anies Changes Rules: Only Registered Companies
JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government issued a policy for workers who do not work from home or work from home (WFH) during the emergency PPKM period to have a worker registration certificate (STRP). STRP is devoted to essential and critical sector workers.
On the first day of the STRP implementation, DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted that the system was experiencing problems. This system has an error due to the large number of workers who register to be able to work outside the home.
This was conveyed by Anies during a virtual emergency PPKM coordination meeting with Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Panjaitan and the ranks of the DKI Regional Leadership Communication Forum.
"Today, the system is still being tested. I need to say that the system from this morning to noon hangs until the afternoon. The capacity to accommodate applications is 1 million simultaneous registrants, but today 17 million people entered," said Anies, Monday, July 5.
Anies admitted that many workers misunderstood the rules for making STRPs. He views that it is impossible for all 17 million workers to work in essential and critical sectors.
In addition, Anies also asked ASN not to take care of making STRP. This is because they may only show proof of employment if they work in an office.
To fix this, anies changed the STRP creation rules. Now, only companies are allowed to register their respective employees.
"From now on we only allow companies to register. Not individuals. Companies enter the names of their employees who will come to work. From there, an STRP will be issued," Anies explained.
"The process is a maximum of 5 hours from the time the data is entered. That way, you can work efficiently. The registration is not personal, but the company where you work puts a list of employees there, the verification process will be carried out later," he added.
For information, the STRP was created to ensure that people who carry out mobility in Jakarta during emergency PPKM are workers who are allowed to work in the office or work from office (WFO).
The STRP applies to both essential sector workers and critical sector workers. Essential sectors include communications and IT, finance and banking, capital markets, payment systems, non-COVID-19 quarantine handling hotels, and export-oriented industries.
Then, critical sectors include businesses in the fields of energy, health, security, logistics and transportation, food, beverage and supporting industries, petrochemicals, cement, national vital objects, disaster management, national strategic projects, construction, basic utilities, and the fulfillment industry. community tree.
In addition, individuals other than workers can also make STRPs if they have urgent needs such as sick visits, funeral or funeral visits, pregnancy or childbirth and their companions.
STRP is excluded from ministries/agencies and government agencies, both central and regional, such as the TNI, Polri, Bank Indonesia, OJK, and others.
STRP can be made on the page http://jakevo.jakarta.go.id. First, the STRP applicant fills out the form and uploads the required conditions. Then, the file will be verified by UP PMPPTSP.
