Man Who Cheated On His Wife In North Sumatra Was Killed With A Crowbar, Together With His Wife Made A Scenario As If The Victim Had Committed Suicide
MEDAN - A husband and wife couple in Tebing Tinggi City, North Sumatra, Heri Juana (51) and Susilawati (44) conspired to kill a man named Lukman Hakim (28).
The Head of Public Relations of the Tebing Tinggi Police, Iptu Agus Arianto, said the murder took place on Wednesday, June 30. The location of the murder was carried out behind the victim's house in Paya Pinang Village, Tebing Tinggi District, Tebing Tinggi City.
The murder began after the suspect Heri and Susilawati found out about the affair between the victim and Susilawati.
"On Wednesday, June 30, at night, the perpetrator Heri and his wife Susilawati visited victim Lukman at his residence, to question whether the victim's information was related to Susilawati, and this was confirmed by the victim," said Agus, Monday, July 5.
Hearing the victim's confession, the suspect Heri was angry and a fight broke out with the victim Lukman. At that time, their commotion was broken up by the victim's neighbors.
"After being separated, the victim left the scene," said Agus.
Because of his increasing emotions, the perpetrator then took a crowbar. He then picked up his wife Susilawati at his house.
After that, the two returned to meet the victim at his residence.
"After meeting the victim behind the victim's house, precisely in the sweet potato field, then the perpetrator immediately hit the crowbar at the victim's head and chest," said Agus.
"Then the victim ran towards his house but the victim fell and didn't move anymore and it was believed by the two perpetrators to have died," added Agus.
After the victim died, the suspect Heri made a scenario as if the victim had hanged himself.
"Perpetrators Heri and Susilawati picked up and brought the victim to the victim's house and made it look as if the victim died by hanging himself, not because he was mistreated," continued Agus.
The next day at around 15.00 the victim's neighbors saw the body of the deceased hanging. Residents then reported to the police.
After being investigated, it turned out that Lukman was a murder victim.
"Then the Tebing Tinggi Police carried out an investigation, information was found that the perpetrators were Heri and Susilawati. Then the two perpetrators were arrested," explained Agus.
According to Agus, the two perpetrators were threatened with Article 338 subsidiary 353 Paragraph 3 subsidiary 351 Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code.
"The penalty is 15 years in prison," said Agus.
