Note It's Free! 11 Telemedicine That Serves Isoman COVID-19 Patients

JAKARTA - COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms are directed to self-isolate to avoid the risk of transmitting the virus, which tends to be higher in hospitals.

In addition, emotionally, patients can be calmer at home. Thus, immunity is more awake.

In this regard, the government has collaborated with 11 private telemedicine services to serve COVID-19 self-isolation (isoman) patients with mild symptoms to reduce hospital pressure, amid a surge in Corona cases.

"There are 11 telemedicine applications. They work to reduce pressure in hospitals. So, hospitals are only for those in need. Others, just self-isolate," said Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan in a virtual conference, Monday, 5 July.

These services will later be accessible to people who need a doctor's consultation to obtain correct guidance regarding the consumption of drugs or vitamins, as well as activities during the health recovery period at home.

The government also appreciates the involvement of the private sector in telemedicine services for free, to people in need.

"I thank you, because you are called to carry out all of this," said Luhut.
